Application file

To apply, please fill out the form attached to the offer, attaching your CV, a cover letter and a transcript of grades in a single PDF file.

(Please note: attendance at the real estate meetings is mandatory. Any unavailability on Monday evening will result in automatic disqualification.)

Fit interview

Once your application is accepted, an interview will be scheduled. During this interview, we would like to get to know you better, understand your level of commitment, and appreciate your interest in the real estate sector.

Technical interview

If the fit interview is successful, you will receive a case study to complete within a 24-hour timeframe. You will then need to present your solution to some members of ImmoHEC.

Final decision

All candidates will be contacted on Sunday evening to be informed of the decision regarding their application.

Events Director

Your mission will be to imagine, implement and help organize various ImmoHEC events: the Quebec Emerging Real Estate Forum - the largest university real estate event in the country (+ 500 people), the Quebec Real Estate Games - the largest university competition in our province (+18 teams), as well as the Alumni Cocktails, the ImmoHEC Gala and the real estate recruitment event.

 

You will work as part of a team with the events department and will be trained by them as well as by the Student Services department. Your VP will be Maxime Rodgers.

 

So you are rigorous, proactive, and have good stress management skills, can handle unexpected situations and deadlines – this role is perfect for you!

Marketing Director

Your role will be to contribute to the communication strategy, publication schedules and visuals for major ImmoHEC events; the largest university real estate events in Canada! You will also participate in the marketing strategy for an event.

Furthermore, you will be the keystone between the events department and the marketing department and will allow for good coordination between these two departments.

Ultimately, you will work with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, and Meta Business Suite.

Director of Association Relations

The Director of Association Relations is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing relationships between ImmoHEC and student associations, both at HEC Montréal and at other universities. This individual manages communications with these associations, coordinates ImmoHEC's external involvement within the student community, handles requests for student partnerships, and participates in negotiating agreements. They act as the primary contact for all inquiries from student associations and represent ImmoHEC at various university events.

Director of Corporate Relations

Your role will be to help prospect, negotiate terms of collaboration, present proposals, and finalize agreements with partners for ImmoHEC. These partners include the largest real estate companies in North America, Canada, and Quebec. They may be companies involved in one-off events or partners throughout the year.

ImmoHEC has a total of 18 annual partners, more than 35 occasional partners, as well as more than 16 teaching staff.

If you are professional, passionate, eager to expand your network and comfortable in conversations, this role is for you!

Analyst - Real Estate Development

Your mission will be to prepare a presentation for each session on a real estate development case in partnership with a company.

This project may involve residential, commercial, industrial, office, or other less traditional real estate assets. The presentation will take place in the presence of the partner company and ImmoHEC members, and will be accompanied by a detailed report prepared by the Real Estate Development department.

You will work closely with partners in the sector, who will help you develop new skills. Throughout the year, you will participate in several training courses to enhance your real estate knowledge and skills.

If you are versatile, both analytical and creative, and passionate about real estate development and promotion, this position is for you!

Partner - Real Estate Development

Your role will be to give a presentation each session with your sector on a real estate project development case study powered by a partner company. This presentation will take place in the presence of the partner company and other ImmoHEC members.

Your responsibility will be to assist in the skills development of analysts. Finally, you will participate in several training courses throughout the year to develop your real estate knowledge and skills.

In project development, we are particularly looking for extremely diverse and versatile profiles. Finance, urban planning, 3D development, legal, marketing… All this to create a project that is as close to reality as possible.

Analyst - Investment Sector

Your mission will be to give a presentation in each session with your sector on an investment case powered by a partner company.

The case study will be developed in advance with the company. This presentation will take place in the presence of the partner company and other ImmoHEC members. In addition to the presentation, the Investment department will be required to write a report on this case study.

As an Investment Sector Analyst, you will work closely with the sector partners. They will help you develop new skills.

Finally, you will attend several training courses throughout the year to develop your knowledge and skills in real estate investment.

Partner - Investment Sector

Your mission will be to give a presentation in each session with your sector on an investment case powered by a partner company.

The case study will be developed in advance with the company. This presentation will take place in the presence of the partner company and other members of ImmoHEC.

Your responsibility will be to assist in the skills development of analysts. Ultimately, you will participate in several training courses throughout the year to develop your knowledge and skills in real estate investment.

Analyst - Real Estate Consulting

Your mission will be to support and advise a real estate company. This sector offers a wide variety of activities, encompassing business strategy, data analysis, investment advice, and financing. Members of this sector thus acquire a diverse range of skills and knowledge in the real estate field.

The presentation will take place in the presence of the partner company and ImmoHEC members. A written report will also be required. You will work closely with industry partners, who will help you develop new skills.

In addition, you will benefit from several training courses throughout the year to enrich your real estate knowledge and skills.

If you are drawn to working with data and analysis, and wish to acquire in-depth expertise in real estate, this position will perfectly meet your expectations.

Analyst - Asset Management

Your mission will be to prepare a presentation on a real estate optimization case study for each session, in collaboration with a partner company. The cases covered may include strategies for acquiring, financing, disposing of, or valuing assets.

This presentation will take place in the presence of the partner company and ImmoHEC members, and will be accompanied by a detailed report. You will work closely with the Partners to complete the mandate and the report.

Throughout the year, you will attend training courses to strengthen your real estate knowledge.

Partner - Asset Management

Your role will be to give a presentation each session with your sector on an asset management case study powered by a partner company. Real estate asset management involves optimizing an existing portfolio or property.

This presentation will take place in the presence of the partner company and other ImmoHEC members. In addition to the presentation, the Asset Management department will be required to write a report on this case study.

Your responsibility will be to assist in the skills development of analysts. Finally, you will participate in several training courses throughout the year to develop your real estate knowledge and skills.
