Real estate forum in Toronto
From December 4 to 5, 2023, some of our members went to Toronto for the 32nd edition of the Real Estate Forum. With the participation of more than 1,350 building owners, developers and investors, the discussions proved informative and enriching. Indeed, several themes such as: the future of the Canadian real estate market in 2024 as well as the impact of the world of technology on the real estate market were covered.
Key presentations and case studies maximized our learning and strengthened our decision-making. This experience was perfect for our networking opportunities and sharing our association with new professionals and potential partners.

Conference on rental and real estate strategy in Montreal
On September 28, 2023, we had the exceptional opportunity to participate in the Montreal Leasing and Real Estate Strategy Conference. During this conference, speakers shared their knowledge, best practices and strategic visions for success in the Montreal real estate market.
This conference was a source of inspiration and knowledge for our members, strengthening their commitment to the Montreal real estate industry. We were able to enrich our knowledge and expand our professional network by discussing with certain professionals such as Natalie Bédard, the co-director of Donati Maisonneuve and Nicolas Désourdy, the president of CarbonLeo.
Asset visit offered by CBRE
On September 17, 2023, we were fortunate to have an asset tour offered by CBRE. The asset presented is located at 900 De Maisonneuve O, in downtown Montreal. Maison Manuvie is an award-winning 27-story office building that houses Manulife's Quebec headquarters. This visit allowed us to learn more about CBRE's portfolio of real estate funds as well as to have the experience of visiting some of their space for rent in person.
Canadian Apartment Investment Conference
On September 12, 2023, we had the chance to participate in the Canadian Apartment Investment Conference which was given in Toronto. Recognized for being the largest multi-residential real estate conference in Canada. This conference covered connections and ideas for strategizing housing affordability and overcoming high costs and supply issues.
We were able to learn from more than 65 market experts on investment, financing, development and management of all types of multi-residential apartments. This event increased the visibility of our members by establishing contacts with the professionals present and giving more visibility to ImmoHEC thanks to a presentation given during the conference.
Ray Junior Investments
On Saturday, August 19, 2023, five members of ImmoHEC had the opportunity to live an enriching experience by going to the offices of the company Investissement Ray Junior, located in Mirabelle, Quebec. The day offered a hands-on look at the steps needed to develop a multi-billion dollar project, guided by the entrepreneur himself, Ray Junior. The visit to Investissement Ray Junior was a memorable day, where practical learning took precedence over theory, offering students a unique perspective on the world of real estate in Quebec.
